Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the sufficient transparency for plural toner layers in the fixing mode, by using plural kinds of toners to set the temperatures showing different degrees of molten viscosity and the difference among these temperatures at the prescribed value respectively. CONSTITUTION:The temperatures are referred to as T1 and T2 when the molten viscosity shows 10<5>cp and 5X10<4>cp respectively. In this case, plural kinds of toners are used as T1=100-180 deg.C and ¦DELTAT¦=¦T1-T2¦=0-20 deg.C respectively. These toners having such temperature-molten viscosity characteristics have an extremely sharp reduction of the viscosity when they are heated. However, the toner of <=100 deg.C T1 causes the blocking easily to show a defect in terms of the stability of preservation. Furthermore the toner has a defect of the color mixing performance as well as in the fixing performance when the T1 is >=180 deg.C. While the reproduction of a clear color is impossible with occurrence of the blocking with the toner that has a slow change of viscosity like ¦DELTAT¦ of 40 deg.C even through the T1 is 100-180 deg.C.
