Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the installation of a device and to effectively prevent stagnation of a powdered body, by providing plural microwave resonators on the transporation route of the powdered and granular body, and deriving the density and speed of the powdered and granular body from these resonators. CONSTITUTION:Microwave resonators 3, 3' are provided on a transportation pipe 1 in which a powdered and granular body 2 flows, a microwave (d) whose frequency has been modulated, provided from a frequency modulating microwave generating circuit 5 is inputted to input parts 34, 34' of the resonators 3, 3', and outputs of output parts 35, 35' are inputted to resonance frequency detecting circuits 6, 6'. A moving time T0 of the powdered and granular body is derived by an operating circuit 9 by taking correlation of outputs (i), (i') of detecting circuits 6, 6', and a speed (v) of the pulverulent body is operated 10.
