Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance of a tank, by omitting a platted layer on a flange part of a wick guide cylinder, and performing seam welding using an annular plate that is good in electrical conductivity to aid the welding. CONSTITUTION:The wick guide cylinder 13 that has been made from a cold rolled steel or the like by deep drawing it into a cylinder, and has been electroplated with a zinc film except the outer surface of a flange section 14 is inserted into a wick guide cylinder insert hole 15 provided in a suitable position of the bottom of the lower tank 12 of a zinc hot dipped steel plate. The flange section 14 is abutted on the peripheral outer surface of the insert hole 15, and the annular plate 16 of a bear steel plate, that is, a film is not formed on the plate, such as a cold rolled steel plate, is abutted on the inner surface of the insert hole 15, and the annular plate 16, the lower tank 12 and the wick guide cylinder 13 are secured by seam welding. Thus, a tank that would not allow leakage of oil can be effectively welded, and therefore the productivity can be improved.
