CONSTITUTION:A gear train 8 is a maximum speed gear train and composed of a gear 8a, on an input shaft 1, and a gear 8b, on an output shaft 3. The gear 8b on the output shaft 3, constituting the maximum speed gear train, is arranged to operate also as an output gear and meshed to an input gear 14a in a differential gear mechanism 14 for transmitting driving power to left and right axles 13a, 13b. In this way, one of the gears, constituting the maximum speed gear train, is used also for an output gear, then quantity of gear items can be decreased.
