Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a fixed level of damping power, by providing a groove to the upper or lower portion from an orifice in a piston rod and externally securing an annular rebound rubber to said groove. CONSTITUTION:A damper is mainly constituted by a cylinder 1, piston 2, sliding in the cylinder 1, and piston rod 3, extended to a lower part of the cylinder 1, and an upper oil chamber (a) and lower oil chamber (b) of the piston are comminicated by an oil passage 4 and orifice 5 drilled in the piston rod 3. Then a grooe 9 is provided in an upper outside of the orifice 5 in the piston rod 3, and an annular rebound rubber 8 is externally fitted and secured to a place of said groove 9.
