Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of peeling or staggering of a heat-insulating material due to the recoiling force of the material by a method wherein a plurality of heat- insulating minutely devided strips having elastic property and the same flat shape are adjacently attached on an FRP outside surface layer in a semispherical shape, and the outside surface layer and the heat-insulating layer are integrated with each other.
CONSTITUTION: The FRP outside surface layer 1 is formed by coating through a mold release agent coated on the inside peripheral surface of a main body 1A and a flange part 2A, and the heat-insulating layer 2 is formed before the outside surface layer 1 is solidified. For forming the heat-insulating layer 2, a plurality of minutely devided strips 4 having elastic property and the same shape are attached on the entire inside surface of the layer 1, that is, in the semispherical shape, and the strips 4 are pressed from above through a pressing jig 5 to fix the layers 1, 2 to each other. The strips 4 are made of a material excellent in heat-insulating property, such as foamed polyurethane, have a convex lens shape formed by a pair of adjacent circles of longitude of a sphere and are adjacently fixed to the FRP outside surface layer 1 in a perfect semispherical form, so that there is no fear of generating any slits.
