Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Dot diameter or stripe width of a fluorescent substance and the opening diameter or width of a chromatic selecting electrode are so constructed as to change axial symmetrically in the central area of the picture field and non-axial symmetrically, reducing, in the peripheral zone as approaching the edges. This gives a sufficiently high brightness to the central area as well as the axial symmetricity will reduce unnatural sense in viewing and also enlarge the tolerance in all peripheral zones of the field.
