Abstract

PURPOSE: To evenly level ripraps, piled up at the very deep bottom of the sea, rapidly over a wide range, by a method wherein a rotary disc, having vanes, is held at a stay, erected upright on the ripraps, so that the disc can freely move upward and downward along the stay.
CONSTITUTION: A lower part of a stay 1, erected upright on underwater ripraps, is fitted in a center hole 4 in a supporting disc 3, and the supporting disc 3 is held at the stay 1 by means of wires 5 so that it can freely move upward and downward. A rotary disc 6 is pivotably held at the under surface of the supporting disc 3, and a drive device 8, mounted on the supporting disc 3, is driven by means of a hydraulic drive source 10 on land, and this causes rotating of vanes 11 and levelling of the ripraps with a current created.
