Abstract

PURPOSE:To build a pair of rotary tools in a slide frame through spacers and shear an iron plate in large width to a belt-shaped iron plate in optional width correspondingly to a moving position of the slide frame, in a device shearing the iron plate in large width to the belt-shaped iron plate in prescribed width. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rotary tools 16, 16', movably arranged along a pair of upper and lower rotary shafts (spline shaft) 11, 11' and rotated in accordance with rotary motion of the rotary shafts 11, 11', are built in a slide frame 15 of almost C-shaped section through spacers 17, 17' in such a manner as to hold prescribed positional relation with each other. A directional position of the rotary shafts 11, 11' in this slide frame 15 is controlled through an internal screw thread holder 14 by rotating a ball screw 19 with a servo motor 18, and a sheared iron plate in large width is inserted into an opening of the slide frame 15 then slitted to a belt-shaped iron plate in optional width by the pair of rotary tools 16, 16'.
