Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the gate body under a horizontal condition at all times by each arranging gate body end section position detectors at the both left and right ends of the sluice, detecting the inclination of the gate body and controlling the gate body lifting mechanism when the positions of both ends of the gate body exceed allowable value. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 4 mounted at both left and right ends 3 of the gate body 2 roll in the gate grooves 5 of bank bodies 1. The gate body 2 is moved vertically by means of the wires 6 of the gate body lifting mechanisms 7 arranged to the upper end sections of the bank bodies 1. The gate body end section position detectors 10 are disposed at both ends 3 of the sluice, and consist of measuring plates and detectors 12. The measuring plates are mounted to the side walls 13 at the upper stream sides of the gate grooves 5 of the bank bodies 1, and the detectors 12 are moved vertically together with the gate body 2. The positional change of the end sections 3 of the gate body 2 is detected momently by means of the devices 10 when shifting the gate body 2 vertically, the gate body lifting mechanisms 7 are controlled when the inclination of the gate body 2 exceeds allowable value, and the gate body 2 is kept under the horizontal condition at all times.
