Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled two-pack type composition, consisting of a mixture of a specific prepolymer with polyphenylmethane polyisocyanate and an aromatic diamine of specific structure, having improved water resistant adhesivity with low toxicity in processing and a good operating ratio.
CONSTITUTION: A composition consisting of (A) a mixture of a prepolymer of a polyol obtained by reacting a polyol with an excess of a polyisocyanate with a polyphenylmethane polyisocyanate, e.g. diphenylmethan -4,4'-diisocyanate, with a polyphenylmethane polyisocyanate content ≥5wt% and (B) a compound of formulaI(Y is bifunctional organic group; X1 and X2 are halogen; n1 and n2 are integers), e.g. 2,3,2',3'-tetrachloro-4,4'-diaminophenylmethane, and/or formula II (R is monofunctional organic group; X3 is 1W4C alkoxyl or halogen), e.g. 3,5- diamino-4-chloroisobutyl benzoate, dissolved in a polyol.
