Abstract

PURPOSE:To absorb impact force against momentary strong tension by travelling a tape along a pair of fixed rolls and a press roll fitted attachably/detachably so as to sit astraddle on the said rollers. CONSTITUTION:A pair of fixed rolls 11, 12 are arranged in the horizontal direction and a press roll 13 is fitted attachably/detachably so as to sit astraddle on the said fixed rolls 11, 12 to depress a tape 3 delivered from a tape feeding reel 6 and travelling along both the fixed rolls 11, 12. When the tape 3 travels within a prescribed winding tension range, back tension is applied to the tape by the fixed rolls 11, 12 and the press roll 13 and, when momentary high tension is applied, the press roll 13 is separated from the fixed rolls 11, 12 so as to be in the free status.
