Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion from end parts in the stage of joining a pair of metallic bodies via a level difference by curving one of these in the state of spacing from the other and joining these at a different level. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 2' having and end part 1' is curved to the shape like a code 7 to the outer side with respect to the other steel plate 3, and these are joined in joining parts 4 at a different level. The end part 1 vulnerable to the initiation of corrosion by absorbing moisture, etc., upon lapse of a long time after application of painting 5 is provided apart from the parts 4 which are not applied with the painting 5. Further, the surroundings of the end part 1 are coated with the paint 5 in such a way as to enclose the part 1 completely, and therefore the corrosion of the part 1 is suppressed. Even though corrosion 6 initiates from the part 1, it does not grow to the breakdown of the film body of the paint 5. Hence, the extension and transfer of the corrosion 6 to the steel plate 3 side is eliminated.
