Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the riser part of the tube from breakage thereof by a method wherein a ?-shaped flexure is provided at the riser part of the spiral heat transmitting tube in a plane passing through the center line of a supporting member therefor and a bending stress generated at the riser part of the spiral heat transmitting tube is reduced. CONSTITUTION:Holding plates 12 are attached to the outer periphery of the heat transmitting tube supporting member 11 radially and heat transmitting tube supporting holes 13 are provided on the holding plates 12 while a tube plate 9b is connected to the terminals of the spiral heat transmitting tubes 4. The channel-shaped flexures 14 are provided at the riser parts 4a of respective spiral heat transmitting tubes 4 while the ?-shaped flexures 14 are formed in planes passing through the center line of the supporting member 11.
