Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of adjusting and test time for a control system, by comparing a forecast response output obtained from a plant control system simulator assembled with a control objective model picked up from a plant test data with a decision criterion. CONSTITUTION:Plant signals P1-Pn inputted to a signal regulator and adjusted for the level with a control from a console 5 are scanned with a multiplexer 3 and inputted to a processor 3 after A/D conversion. The device 3 incorporates with a simulator 7 consisting of a control model 8 to be adjusted and a controlled variable model 9. The model 9 estimates a parameter 102 of the model of a controlled variable from an actual machine data 101 stored in an auxiliary storage device 4 with a fixed means 10 so that the performance is coincident with the specific characteristics of a plant even if the plant differs. This is given to the model 9 and the response of an output variable is forecast when the test input is applied in combination with the model 8, and the control constant of the model 8 so that the response satisfies the criterion is retrieved. The result of identification, forecast and retrieval of control costant of the device 3 can be displayed on a CRT6.
