Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure watertightness and to facilitate fabrication by providing an optical cable with rubber packing, and holding the optical cable by fixing the rubber packing on a case side by applying pressure to the rubber packing. CONSTITUTION:Optical cables 104 are run through the holding holes 7 of rubber packing 6 from respective cut parts 8, and the packing 6 is mounted on a seat 5 in a leading-out exit part 3 on the side of a case 1. In this case, the holes 7 and cables 104 are bonded together with a rubbery adhesive. Then, the cables 104 are run through the recess parts 10 of a washer 9, which is mounted on the packing 6. The male screw part 12 of a connector 11 is screwed into the female part 4 of the exit part 3, and a recess part 13 of the connector is fitted in the washer 9 to be pressed against the seat 5. Then, a pipe 16 is fitted in the rear part of the connector 11, and an adhesive 17 is packed between the internal circumferential surface of the pipe 16 and the connector 11 to perform fixation by caulking with a ring 18.
