Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection of a filler cup in the case of the collision of cars with the planning of small sizing for a filler base by arranging a cylindrical protector on the outer side of a filler tube protruding into the filler base which forms the side surface of a fuel-supply port. CONSTITUTION:A filler base 13 and a seal rubber 14 are respectively arranged on the side surface and the bottom surface of a fuel-supply port 11 which is formed on the rear fender-panel 10. Then, a filler tube 6 is inserted into the port 16 on the inner structural member 15 of a vehicle-body, and the head part 6a to which a filler cap 17 is fixed, is introduced into said filler base 13. A cylindrical protector 19 having its outer diameter L2 larger than the outer diameter L1 of said cap 17, is fixed to the head part 6a of the filler tube. Consequently, when said structural member 15 is moved owing to the collision of cars, the protector 19 is caused to be in contact with the base 13, thereby preventing the contact between the base 13 and the cap 17, and reducing the distance between the base 13 and the cap 17. Thus, the predetermined object may be achieved.
