Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve dam-adhesion accurately and efficiently in spite of the out line of a wind shield glass by arranging a contact roller for the edge surface of the glass and a dam press roller for the peripheral part of said glass in the dam- adhesion apparatus. CONSTITUTION:This dam-adhesion apparatus 15 has rails 17, 19 equipped along the lengthwise direction of a table 16 on which a wind shield glass is set in the center. A holder block 20 is constructed in a bridge form over said rails 17, 19 and is moved transversely by the operation of a serbo motor 22. A head 31 which is capable of moving along a lead screw 25 by a serbo motor 27, is fixed on a block 20. This head 31 is constructed by following method in which a pair of ball rollers 37 touching the periphery of the glass, a roller 38 touching the edge surface of the glass and the press roller 41 pressing the dam 40 drawn out by a suitable method, are arranged onto the supporting bracket 34 connected movably to a hanger bar 33 by cooperation with a spring 36.
