Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce rolling resistance remarkably without deteriorating wettability, comfortability of riding and steering stability, by setting dynamic elasticity ratio and 25% Mod at a specific values for a coating rubber covering a carcass cord. CONSTITUTION:The tyre is made of a one-ply carcass 3 consisting at least of organic fiber cord wrapped around a bead core 6 and turned over in the direction of the radius of the tyre. The tyre body is strengthened by a belt 2 consisting of the plurality of cord layers surrounding the carcass 2. A tread rubber 1 is provided on the periphery of the belt 2 and rubber chafers 7 are provided under a side-wall rubber 4 on both sides of the carcass 2.
