Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a complete combustion of the city waste material, improve an efficiency of combustion and reduce a running cost of the incinerator by a method wherein a laser beam radiating device is directed toward the waste material in the incinerator so as to perform an ignition and combustion of the waste material. CONSTITUTION:When the combustion material 3 is fed into the incinerator from the hopper 2, fed into the incinerator in sequence by the pusher 4, and fed from the drying zone A to the combustion zone B over the roaster, a laser beam is applied to an overall waste material from the laser beam radiating device 9 which is arranged at the rear upper wall of the incinerator 1 in such a manner as it may be directed toward the combustioned material in the incinerator, thereby the fired kindling objects are made not only on the surface layer but also in the inner layer so as to make an ignition and combustion. Thereafter, the combustion is made in the combustion zone C, the combustioned ash is discharged out and a part of the ash is dropped into the water-sealed ash accumulator tank 7 through the drum 6 or through the shoot 5 for a part of the ash. Since the laser beam radiation device 9 has a wide directing range, no poor combustion area is found as well as a complete combustion may be performed, resulting in improving an efficiency of combustion and decreasing a running cost.
