Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform dustproofing with min. wetting of dust producing materials when discharging said materials from a dump truck by spraying water horizontally toward the rear from the front in the sky above said materials and following up the inclination of a rear bed when it exceeds a certain angle.
CONSTITUTION: In the stage of discharging sand, etc. for reconditioning of org. self-curing molding sand which are undesired to be wetted but are vulnerable to production of dust by inclining the rear bed 2 of a dump truck 1, the spray nozzles 7 at the top ends of the rising parts 2a in the front part of the rear bed 2 are provided in such a way as to spray water horizontally backward so that the curtains of the mist of the water cover the sky above the molding sand backward beyond the rear bed. This device is designed to give an initial moving range to the nozzles in such a way that the nozzle continue to spray the water horizontally up to about 25° inclination of the rear bed and that when the inclination exceeds about 25° the nozzles follow up the inclination of the rear bed, whereby the sprays of optimum angles are formed, the wetting of the molding sand is minimized and the dustproofing effect is improved.
