Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum conversion result with a high efficiency, by using a partial Chinese character converting part where an inputted kana train is converted into Chinese characters and a sentence containing Chinese characters converted from kana letters plus the tolerance, i.e., the sureness of conversion are delivered. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a kana train storing part 2 holding a kana train which is inputted 1, and a partial kana-Chinese character converting part 3 in which a part of the kana train is read out from the part 2 in a prescribed sequence to subject a kana-Chinese character conversion and a sentence containing the converted Chinese characters plus the tolerance, i.e., the sureness of conversion are delivered. Furthermore, the device is provided with an arithmetic register 5 holding the integral amount calculated on the basis of the tolerance, and a recurring formula calculation part 4 that calculates the load sum between the tolearance and the integral amount in the register 5 and then obtains the maximum or minimum value as the form of an integral amount, and a result storing part 6 holding a sentence containing the converted Chinese characters with the maximum or minimum value.
