Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the operation of the operator at the input of processor converting the characters such as Kana (Japanese syllabary) into corresponding Kanji (Chinese character) and to reduce the time required for conversion, by splitting the characters such as Kana including a plurality of words into words and converting them into Kanji.

CONSTITUTION: The processor which converts the 1st character such as Kana into the 2nd character such as Kanji corresponding to it, splits the 1st character including a plurality of words into words and converts it into the 2nd characters. For example, the input sentence as shown in figure, in which the part converted to Kanji is clipped between the code 35 of odd and even number and input is made from the keyboard in Hiragana, is converted into Kanji, Kana mixed sentence with the processor including the memory unit and CPU. In the unit like this, for example, the characters including two words such as "Kihonteki" (fundamental) are input in Kana, then first, the code 35 is input and then input is made as "Kihonteki" and finally, the code 35 is again input. Then, conversion is automatically made in the processor as "Kihon" and "Teki".
