Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a large printing plate useful for cans or the like excellent in the yield of plates and printing appearance by numerically controlling the quality of printing to produce an almost correct printing for a proof sheet with a scale for controlling the quantity of printing applied on a margin as flange section of a metal can body. CONSTITUTION:In a large printing plate 1 for a metal can body which is printed at a portion to be blank on the body leaving a peripheral margin, cutting lines 3 and 3' provided on a large metal plate 2 such as ammonium alloy plate to form the blank thereof. Square parts demarkated by the vertical cutting lines 3 and the horizontal cutting lines 3' are set for portions 4 to be blank. Printing is done on an area 5 leaving a vertical margin 6 and a horizontal margin 7 to form a flange section of the metal can body around thereof. A scale 8 for controlling the quality of printing is printed at the margins 6 and 7 to obtain a intended large metal printing plate.
