Abstract

PURPOSE: To precisely carry out the knuckle plate work at one pass, and to make possible the automatic correction of the belly formed in the places before and behind of the knuckle part, by installing the plate type upper die and the lower die whose both sides are made taller than other parts, and by providing the uneven part in both dies.
CONSTITUTION: The main lower die 5 is constructed by installing the knuckle portion 3, being added with the spring back of steel sheet 2 to be worked, and the concave portion 4 for correcting the bellied deformation portion of the steel sheet 2; this main lower die 5 is placed on the foundation 1. On either side of this main lower die 5, the plate type tall parts 5', 5", for the lower die, including knuckles 3', 3", are parallelly vertically installed; hereby, the lower die 5 is completed. The working face like as the knuckle portion 6 and the belly portion 7 are installed in the upper die B.
