Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize the braking energy effectively by converting the kinetic energy reduced during the braking into the potential energy of a resilient member and preserving then utilizing said energy as the driving force at the start. CONSTITUTION:When operating a lever 16 to turn on a switch 17 thus to perform the braking, an electromagnetic clutch 5 will operate to couple a driving differential device 2 with a hydraulic pump 6. Consequently the pump 6 will function to pressure feed the oil in an oil tank 7 through a check valve 10 to a power cylinder 11 where it is pressure stored. Since an axle shaft 3 is applied with the resistance by the amount of the driving of the pump 6, the rotation of a wheel 4 will be lowered to decelerate a car. At the start, a lever 18 is operated to turn on a switch 19 thus to operate an electromagnetic valve 12 thereby the high pressure oil in a cylinder 11 is fed to a hydraulic motor 14. Since said motor 14 will operate to rotate an axle shaft 3 through a differential device 2, the car will start.
