Abstract
PURPOSE:To previously prevent damage on watch by detecting water leakage in early period, by displaying water leakage alarm by controlling a gate with the use of a conductivity detection signal by water leakage. CONSTITUTION:Water leaked through a waterproof packing 4 of materials of an external operation member 1 caused by deterioration, deformation and damages is compulsorily accumulated in a slot 6 of the member 1 before leaking in to the inside of a clock. Then, the conductivity condition is detected through a electrode terminal 2 and a high-level water leakage detection signal is generated from the water leakage detection circuit 7. AND gate 7 is opened. The clock from a clock generation circuit 9 is impressed on a display method 11 as a display flashing signal for water leakage alarm display through the gate 7. Consequently, early alarm is given and damage caused by water leakage is previously prevented.
