Abstract
PURPOSE:To vary the frequency and waveform rate of an output pulse easily by setting data, stored in a read-only memory, in a programmable counter. CONSTITUTION:The output of a reference signal oscillator 201 equipped with a quartz oscillator X is applied to a programmable counter 202 to divide its frequency. For setting the frequency division ratio, etc., of the counter 202, prescribed data is written in a read-only memory 204, whose address is specified by a setting operation part 203 to set the contents of the specified address in the counter 202. The output of the oscillator 201 is counted by a counter 301, whose output is used as an address to set the contents of the memory 204 in the counter 202, so that the period of an output pulse is coninuously variable.
