Abstract

PURPOSE:To jump unrecorded parts precisely by counting the prescribed number of audio pulses to detect a recording part while preventing error detection due to noises and then returning a reproducing head to the back end of the unrecorded part. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal from a reproducing head 1 is waveform-converted into an audio pulse signal through a Schmitt trigger circuit 5 and inputted to an NAND gate G3. When the reproducing head 1 reaches a recording part, audio pulses only are supplied to a clock input terminal bar CK of a counter 7. Accompanied with the increment of count value, a high level signal from an output terminal Q1 sets up a D-form FF2 and is supplied to a review REV command terminal of a mechanism controlling part 8. When the reproducing head 1 reaches an unrecorded part, the count value of the counter 7 starts to increase, an output terminal QM is set to high level and a high level signal is supplied to the PLAY command input terminal of the controlling part 8.
