Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to generate a substantially constant torque against the variation of wind speed by a method wherein the wind mill is equipped with a plurality of sets of wings having different attaching angles, chord lengths, and lengths of the wings. CONSTITUTION:The attaching angle h of the short wing 5 is larger than the same angle h' of the long wing 7 while the chord length i of the short wing is made longer than the same i' of the long wing. Accordingly, the torque generated by the short wing decreases when the wind speed is increased while the torque generated by the long wing 6 is increased when the wind speed is increased. Consequently, the total torque of the long and short wings becomes constant substantially by combining the short wing and the long wing appropriately, even if the wind speed is fluctuated.
