Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the time correction in the same feeling as in the case of a needle type electronic timepiece by accelerating a correcting speed stepwise in accordance with the rotating speed of a crown of a correction switch in a digital electronic timepiece. CONSTITUTION:Both the switches C<+> and C<-> operated when right or left rotating operation of a crown is performed are connected to a chattering preventing circuit 11 and an output C+P and C-P signals are inputted to an OR circuit 13. For example, in case when the C+P signal is generated twice within 0.5sec, an output Q1 of a shift register 18 goes to a level 1 in the first time to bring a times circuit 16 to a countable state. In the second times, an output Q2 of the register 18 goes also to the level 1 to reset a timer circuit 16 and to measure again 0.5sec. An AND circuit 20 is opened due to the output Q2 of the register 18 to generate a B signal, X1 signal. Then, an RST signal is generated after elapsing 0.5sec after the generation of the second C+P signal. In the meantime, an one min. counter not shown in a figure is corrected by six min in self- propelling through six X1 signals.
