Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the over-steering without reducing the cornering performance with a simple construction by reducing the braking force of the inside wheel by a valve actuated by leateral direction force. CONSTITUTION:A left and right hydraulic pressure control device 10 is provided in the rear wheel brake passage, said device 10 comprising valves using balls 21R and 21L which are contained in valve chambers 16R and 16L to constitute the valves together with valve seats 22R and 22L, constructing passage 20R and 20L being provided thereto in parallel. When an automobile is cornering to right, for example, the ball 21R climbs up the slanted surface by the centrifugal force and is seated against the valve 22R to be in the position shown by the broken line in the illustriation. When the brake is applied at this instance the braking force on the right rear wheel is obtained only from the constructing passage 20R and is delayed from the left side thereby reducing the over-steering moment by that amount.
