Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the rightward and leftward change and fixation of mounted position of a wheel, by placing a wheel drive shaft below the bottom of a transmission case and providing a cylindrical axle which is secured on the wheel and only slidably fitted in the wheel drive shaft and by coupling the axle and the shaft to each other as in a relationship between a male and a female screws. CONSTITUTION:An axle case 34 is mounted on a transmission case 33 and a differential shaft 32, which is protruded rightward and leftward from the transmission case, so that the position of the axle case can optionally be shifted and fixed around an axis and a wheel drive shaft 28 is located below the transmission case. A cylindrical axle 37 is spline-fitted into a cylindrical axle 37 in a direction from the outside of the machine body. A female screw 38 provided on the inside surface of the front part of the axle 37 is fixedly engaged with a male screw member 39 mounted on the inner end of the drive shaft 28, by a rotary operating member 41 and a nut 42. As a result, the torque of the wheel drive shaft 28 is transmitted to the axle 37. The position of the wheel 2 can easily be shifted horizontally, only by jacking the wheel up and straightly moving the axle 37.
