Abstract

PURPOSE:To indicate circuit switching rapidly and accurately over a look at the display of a fault, by visually knowing the point and influence range of the fault by displaying fault information in a diagram of a transmission circuit network. CONSTITUTION:To a center device 100 to which sets of terminal equipment arranged dispersedly at respective points are connected on on-line basis, a circuit fault display device 200 is connected. This device 200 is provided with a transmission and reception part 201 which receives circuit fault information, circuit switching information and circuit network display data from the center device 100, a storage part 202 stored with circuit network display data, a switching control table, a branch control table, etc., a rewritable display part 203 on which the circuit network diagram of an on-line system is displayed, a control part 204 which controls the respective parts, and an input part 205 to which an operator inputs circuit numbers. Then, the fault information is displayed over a look at the condition of the fault of the circuit network, and circuit switching is indicated rapidly and accurately.
