Abstract
PURPOSE:To make products smaller in size by a construction wherein two sets of conductors, each of which consists of a plural number of strands connected in series are wound into a coil having each layer in such arrangement as only two strands are arranged in the direction of the winding axis and a plural number of strands are stacked in the direction of the radius of the coil. Only one solid winding is on each iron core leg. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of conductors 72, 73, each of which consists of two strands 71 in parallel as a and b or c and d are wound into two layers of helical coils. Each layer is arranged in such a way as two strands 71 are arranged in the direction of the winding axis and a plural number of strands are stacked in the direction of the radius of the coil at any point. Insulating spacers 74 are provided to isolate each set of strands in parallel in the direction of the axis. A set of four strands a, b, c and d which constitute the layers of the coil is turned over every one turn or a plural number of turns by 90 degrees so that the strands in parallel can have uniform value of impedance. Such a feature can reduce a number of compensating pieces at coil ends so as to allow the products to be smaller in size, and besides extremely good coupling between both conductors can be maintained so that potential difference between both can be reduced.
