Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent accidents such as nipping of finger etc. by supporting the oscillating lever with a spring and pressing and working the die always in a closed state. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating lever 8 that makes sliding contact at a power transmitting part 8' is axially connected by a fixed lever 7 and a fulcrum shaft 9 to an eccentric cylindrical cam 5 which is rotated by a prime mover 1 through a reduction gear 2, a pinion 3 and a power gear 4. A pressure joined die 10 is connected to above-mentioned levers 7, 8 by a shaft 11. A coil spring 15 is provided between the front end of the oscillating lever 8 and fixed lever 7, and the front end of the oscillating lever 8 is always pulled downward, and the meshed part 14 of the die is kept in a closed state. In inserting a work, a push rod 16 is pushed downward, and the power transmitting part 8' of the oscillating lever is pushed down resisting the force of the spring 15. A stopper 17 prevents the push rod 16 from coming out upward.
