Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of the operator and to increase the transmission efficiency, by the transmission in higher speed than the reception enable speed of a pair of facsimile transmitter/receiver and the playback of picture in the speed suitable for the receiver after temporary storage of codes. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 1 and a receiver 2 form a pair of facsimile devices in common use of transmission and reception. The mode in common of transmission and reception is designated via a control circuit 3 through the designation of a mode designation section 5 and the transmission speed is set by controlling the operating timing of each circuit. Through this designation, the output obtained at a read-in section 11 is coded at a signal processing section 12 and it is transmitted to the reception section 2 via a modulation section 13, input and output section 4 and transmission line.
