Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title heater which is capable of coverting heat energy obtained from a gas or an oil into thermic rays and far infrared rays in an efficient manner by a method wherein a boiler heated by a burner and a specific radiator connected to the boiler through a pipe are provided in the heater. CONSTITUTION:A fuel supplied to the burner from a fuel source 7 through a pipe 8 provided with a control valve 6 is burned by the burner 1 to thereby heat a liquid in the boiler 2. The liquid heated by the burner 2 is transferred to the radiator 3 through a couple of pipes 4 and 5 due to convection so that the radiator 3 is heated. The radiator 3 is provided with a radiating plate 10 which forms itself a radiating surface and which stores the liquid 11 therein. Furher, a film 12 which allows the far infrared rays to pass therethrough is supported on the radiating surface of the radiating plate 10 and therefore, the thermic rays and the far infrared rays are radiated efficiently from the radiating plate 10. As a consequence, heat energy obtained from a gas or an oil can be converted into thermic rays efficiently.
