Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve photoelectric conversion with fidelity, by picking up an effective signal component with the gated output of a CCD image sensor in synchronizing with a reset pulse and sample-holding the component after integrating the picked up effective signal component. CONSTITUTION:A sensor driving circuit 10 supplies a transfer pulse phiX, shift pulses phi1 and phi2, a reset pulse phiR, a gate pulse phiG, a clear pulse phiC and a sampling pulse phiS respectively to each circuit. A gate circuit 20 gates an output of a CCD image sensor in synchronizing with the phiR with the phiG to pick up the effective signal component. The picked up effective component is integrated in synchronizing with the phiR with the phiC at an integration circuit 30. The integrated effective signal component is in sample holding with the phiS at a sample hold circuit 40 and outputted as a photoelectric conversion signal. The signal at an odd number bit is completely charged up by corresponding the period of the phiR with 2-bit of a photoelectric conversion element group 2.
