Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the chip size and power consumption, by negative feedback to the base of a transistor (TR) for differential amplifier from an output emitter follower TR through an ion implanted resistor for a load resistor.
CONSTITUTION: An input signal is applied to the base of a TRQ1, which constitutes a differential amplifier with a TRQ2, and a collector output of the TRQ2 is given to the base of an output emitter follower TRQ5, and a load resistor RL is connected to the collector circuit of the TRQ2. An ion implanted resistor is employed for the load resistor RL and a signal appeared at the emitter of a TRQ5 is given to the base of the TRQ2. Thus, the chip size can be reduced while keeping wide band characteristics and the power consumption can be decreased.
