Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a dehumidifying function which is simple in structure and accurate in operation by a method wherein a convex-concave cooling section adopted to exchange heat between air inside the room and that outside the room is provided in an outer casing of the captioned fan attached with the dehumidifier for humidifying the air inside the room by cooling the same with the open air.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch turns ON in a state in which a guide plate 18 is rotated up to a solid line position shown in the drawing, an impeller 12 is rotated through a motor 13 so that damp air in the room A such as a bath room is sucked into an outer casing 1 via a sucking port 3 and circulates through a vent passage C. During the above operation, the damp air comes into contact with cooling fins 14 and 15 and is cooled as a result of its heat exchange with the low temperature open air in a region B outside the room so that the moisture content in the air is transformed into dew drops which fall down on a float board 8 through a water plte 7 to be then discharged from a water exhaust port 6. The air dehumidified in the above manner is passed through a casing 11 and is returned to the room A via an air outlet 11b and an air exhaust port 4. On the contrary, in case where the guide plate 18 is rotated up to a chain line position as shown, the air in the room after humidification is discharged into the region B outside the room through another air exhaust port 5.
