PURPOSE:To drive a bell starting RSFF and to eliminate the need to start and stop a calling bell, by using a hook signal sent to the opposite station and that received from the opposite station. CONSTITUTION:A hook signal from the opposite station is applied to the set terminal of a bell starting RSFF2 through a rise change point detecting circuit 1, and the output of OR between the inverted signal of said hook signal and the hook signal of this station are applied to the reset terminal of the RSFF2. When the handset of the opposite station is lifted, the RSFF2 is set at the rise of the hook signal, and its output drives a bell circuit 3 to make a calling bell sound. In response to the calling bell, when the handset of this staion is lifted, the RSFF2 is reset to stop the calling bell, so that a busy state is set.
