CONSTITUTION:As the catalyst for decomposing ozone, one obtained by supporting a mixture of platinum and rhenium on a carrier prepared by forming a coating layer comprising activated carbon or the like on the surface of a support such as an alkali free glass fiber or various sintered substances is used. Because thus obtained ozone decomposing catalyst decomposes ozone in good efficiency at a temp. in the vicinity of a room temp. of 20-80 deg.C, ozone treatment is carried out in a low running cost.
