Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out the stirring of water or the like by utilizing wind force by a method wherein the windmill is provided above a support stand having a float attached thereto and a water surface stirring blade wheel is provided thereunder to be moored on a water surface. CONSTITUTION:In the support post of a support stand 1 having plural floats 3 arranged under the peripheral frame thereof, a freely rotatable main shaft 5 is provided so as to be protruded from the upper and the lower ends thereof and a windmill 6 is mounted to the upper protruded part of said main shaft 5 and a water surface stirring blade wheel 7 having plural paddle blades 10 in a radial fashion is mounted to the lower protruded part thereof. This stirrer is fixed to an optional position by a mooring cable 12 in the cistern or the fish breeding pond of a waste water treating installation and water in the pond is recirculated and aerated by utilizing wind force to carry out the supplement of oxygen or the purification of water. As described above, the recirculation of water is carried out in good efficiency by natural force.
