CONSTITUTION:The flow rate adjusting valve 6 is arranged between the power steering 5 and the booster 4 for the brake or a clutch master cylinder. The flow rate adjusting valve 6 comprises a main body 60 that has a first chamber 601 and a second chamber 602 with a spool valve 61 slidably therein, and a rod 611 of the spool valve 61 is movably inserted in a partition 603 between the chambers 601 and 602 so as to form an orifice 604. The first chamber 601 has a discharge outlet 605 in communication with a fluid inlet of the power steering 5, and the second chamber 602 has a fluid inlet 606 to communicate with a discharge outlet of the booster 4. The spool valve 61 is provided with a relief valve body 613 in a cylinder bore 612, and the main body 60 is provided with a discharge outlet 608 to communicate with the cylinder bore 612 via an opening 614.
