Abstract

PURPOSE:To mass-produce vessels such as unprecedented deeply-drawn dishes, by temporarily sticking a cherry bark to a base material, which can be deeply drawn by hot-press, with an adhesive agent, and performing formation of the base material and adhesion of the cherry bark at once by hot-press. CONSTITUTION:A cherry bark 2, to which an adhesive agent has been applied, is temprarily stuck onto a base material 1, made of composition of wooden pulp, synthetic fibers and resin, which can be deeply drawn by hot-press and then solidified by cooling naturally. Thereafter, hot-press is applied to the cherry back-stuck base material to form the whole. Consequently, the base material is formed into a desired deeply-drawn state, while the cherry bark is bonded under an elongated condition to the base material with the adhesive agent applied to the back surface of the cherry back. Paint is then applied to the periphery 3 of the resultant vessel, and the whole surface of the vessel is finish-coated with paint.
