Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the space for traveling guide by a method wherein a recording pen is fitted to one traveling guide shaft and one magnet holds the recording pen and gives the pen pressure and a roller and a magnet are provided to the leading end of a traveling frame. CONSTITUTION:A traveling frame 3 is guided to the longitudinal direction by a traveling guide shaft 4 and transferred to the direction from the front to the back of a drawing. A roller 30 and a magnet 31 are provided to an arm portion 9 of the frame 3 and a fixed frame 32 which holds a scale plate 6 is made of ferromagnetic substance, so that the frame 3 is moved vertically by using the inside surface of the frame 32 as a guide surface. A pen supporting pin 20 is stood on the arm portion 9 and a magnet 33 is embeded. On the other hand an iron piece 34 is embeded to a recording pen 7 at the position facing the magnet 33 and the pen 7 is held by the self weight and the magnetic force forming a gap C at the base of the pin 20. On the other hand the magnet 33 and the iron piece 34 are facing only partially and the pen pressure P is given by the horizontal component of atraction force. With this constitution, the pen of large capacity can be adopted by utilizing the limited space.
