Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the rate of penetration of sunlight, to reduce heat loss and to improve the heat collecting efficiency of the titled solar heat collector by a method wherein the solar heat collector is formed of a plurality of semicylindrical bodies each having a parabolic concave inner surface acting as a reflecting mirror and a flate transparent photo-receiving surface and a heat collecting pipe arranged near a focussing point of the reflecting mirror of each of the semicylindrical bodies. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of photo-receiving sections A are housed lengthwise within a casing 1 forming the body of the solar heat collector. Each of the photo-receiving sections A is formed of the semicylindrical vacuum body 2 and the heat collecting pipe 3 arranged within the former. The semicylindrical vacuum body 2 has the parabolic concave inner surface 2b serving as the reflecting mirror 4 and the flat transparent photo-receiving surface 2a. Further, the heat collecting pipe 3 is formed of, for example, a copper pipe coated with a selective photo-adsorbing film 3a on the outer surface thereof and supported at a position adjacent to a focussing point T of the reflecting mirror 4 of each of the semicylindrical vacuum bodies 2 by means of a support 5. With the above structure, it is possible to incrase the rates of incidence and penetration of sunlight, to reduce heat loss and to heat a heat medium to a high temperature due to the high heat collecting efficiency of the solar heat collector.
