Abstract
PURPOSE:To establish a zero-magnetic-field environment easily for the adjustment of a color television by providing Helmholtz coils at four surrounding positions and placing the color television at the center part. CONSTITUTION:With switches S1 and S2 OFF, a color television TV is rotated horizontally. Then, the color television TV is directed for adjustment, the switches S1 and S2 are closed, power sources V1 and V2 are adjusted to adjust currents of Helmholtz coils L1-L4 so that the position of the raster is right in the center between the uppermost and lowermost positions of the movement, thus placing the color television TV under a zero-magnetic-field condition. Further, said adjustment is carried out in the vertical direction to establish the zero-magnetic-field environment as well.
