Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve damping performance of vibration in a long turbine blade, by interposing a sleeve in a through hole drilled in the moving blade made of titanium alloy, calking both edge ends of the sleeve mounting the sleeve to the through hole. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 4 made of 12Cr steel is inserted into a through hole 2 of a titanium moving blade 1 and fixed to the through hole 2 by calking both ends 5 to prevent the sleeve from falling off. A titanium alloy is never contacted to a tie wire 3, and a scuffing phenomenon can be prevented. Further the moving blade of a turbine can be formed to a longish moving blade from high specific strength of the titanium alloy. Still further a titanium moving blade of loose tie wire construction with a sleeve can be improved its damping performance of vibration.
